Great little spot
Stopped for one night while traveling. Mostly level paved spots. Flush toilet, showers, and super clean and well kept. Right down the road from Theodore Roosevelt NP.

Noisy
Very close to I-94, thus noisy. Toilets dirty because no CG host this late in the season. $20 regular fee, but $10 for seniors with NP pass. There are two loops. Most people only see the first loop. Unusual for a Forest Service campsite to have showers. You need quarters for the shower. There are no sinks, however. The campsites are well spaced out.

Open Year Round.
Only $10 with Lifetime Senior pass, otherwise $20. No electricity but large sites with trees between. Medium sized sites. Two loops with flush toilets and showers. Right off Interstate so some highway noise but not too bad. Beautiful areas just 8 miles from Medora and South Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. No reservations allowed. Open year round per information but water only until Nov? May be no camp host after Labor Day. Beautiful area. Convenient! Phone and internet reception goes into and out. Relax and Read a book kind of place!

Beautiful!
Lovely, trees as well as open sites. $20 per night. No hook ups for RVs but plenty large paved sites for any size RV. Water and dump station available. Toilet and shower available but did not use. Not far from I94 so some highway noise. Would definitely stay again. These camp sites provide the “camping” experience in a pleasant way. Host says this campground fills Wednesday-Saturday most of the season, so get a site early. First come first serve.

Amazing!
Only $6, so quiet, an amazing sunset, a very well groomed trail... we loved it! It was a great place to unwind after a long day of travel. Very clean and well maintained. Medora is just an exit away and is a great little town. We will definitely be back.

Wish we Had Stayed
We pulled in to this park by accident. We had reservations up the road at Buffalo Ranch. The sites are paved and private. We were in the area during the week and the park was almost empty. We will definitely stay here our next time through. I am giving it 4 stars because like someone else said, it is deluxe primitive. There were a few big rigs in the park, so it is doable for wveryone.

Very Friendly, Great Stopover!
Hosts were wonderful, unfortunately the flush toilets and showers were out of order while I was there, but I'm sure that's just a temporary issue. They did still have pit toilets to use. As everyone else has said, can't beat it for $6 a night!

Okay. Yes you can hear traffic, but it is certainly not a nuisance. For $6/nite with flush toilet, an awesome shower and water, a little noise isn't bad. Besides, the traffic dwindles to near nothing as the evening wears on. 37 sites and only 6 occupied. Close access to the park, guest ranch and Medora. If you have an interagency pass, it is only $3/nite. What a deal!!

Great Value
This is a great option for primative camping. Water spigots between every other site, but no hook up. Flush toilets and showers make this a deluxe primative! Most sites have shade in either am or pm, take your pick. Friendly and helpful camp hosts. With an Interagency Senior Pass, we paid $3 a night. Can't beat that! Two track trails and hiking trails easily accessible. This is a hidden gem.

Nice Quiet Place
It is a simple camp area with flush toilets and a shower. Camp host were very nice. All parking was on asphalt pads. There was large and small pads, some trees and privacy on many sites, some were wide open. It's about 1/2 mile from 94 and 1/2 mile from a bar and restaurant. Well worth the $6.
