Nice Place
This is a nice campground in a great location and fantastic views. Sites are quite close to each other and neighbor's sewer next to your picnic table, sandy, but almost all sites are pull thru. The restrooms are ok, showers could definitely need an update. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great place for a night or two to visit Theodore Roosevelt NP and Medora Musical is highly recommended! We would definitely come back!

We were there while it rained. Thought our site was going to wash away. Sites are crowded and muddy. Staff were ok. Not really helpful. Find somewhere else next time. Expensive for tight quarters.

Booked 30 amp for 6 nights. Now on the 3rd day and looking for another place to stay.
The 30 amp keeps dropping to 104 volts and surge protector shuts down. The office tells me I need to run fridge off of propane. Two different maintenance guys have changed the breakers, I'm running the fridge on propane and still shutting down.
The front office just shrugs their shoulders.
DO NOT STAY HERE!

New Sites Too Crowded
We just spent 2 nights in one of their new 50 amp sites and it was not too nice. The spots are way too crowded and all sand. The showers were wonderful

Missed the action
A very nice campground near the city, the musical, and the national park entrance. We were there about 2 weeks after the noted musical production quit for the season, so the town was practically dead. Most attractions were closed, except for the nice miniature golf course on Saturday.
We took in a one man production on Teddy Roosevelt at the Old Town Hall theater.
Go to the gas station if you want a great sub sandwich at a great price, and the fuel prices are reasonable.
The site they gave us was shadeless and at the end of the row. I complained and got a better site with some shade and trees. We were staying for 3 nights, but the site they gave us would be ideal for overnighters coming in late. Showers were closed due to covid19, and toilets had no TP for same reason I suppose.
The WiFi was good and saved us since we had no T-mobile coverage and exhausted our Verizon MiFi bandwidth.
We hiked to the petrified forest at Teddy Roosevelt NP.
Enjoyed out time here.

Great Location
We stayed a Saturday and Sunday night. Sunday was very relaxed with so many campers gone. It was very busy and dusty when we pulled in on Saturday. $40 FHU, reservations online, mostly pull through spots with enough room for our RV plus a trailer in tow. Sites are very close together but I have been in worse. We got a beautiful end spot with trees and room for our awning as well as a great view of the Butte. Bike and walking path nearby for a short trip into town. City pool is next door but was closed.

Nice park. Close to town. Busy campground with many kids. Came in on Sunday when pitchfork fondue is on the list of events. Enjoyed that on a previous stay.

Good Campground For Location
1/2 mile from the entrance to TRNP south unit. Bike path into town. Right on the Little Missouri River. Good playground. You don't get to pick your site and they are tight but that was expected at a busy National Park where we spent most of our time away from the campground. The con was that since the sites were so close you had the sewer hookup smell from the site next to you right outside your door. Definitely the nicer of the two campgrounds in town. Would recommend if you are visiting the park. However if you are okay with no electric hookups I would stay at the state park just south of town

OK Campground
Pleasant campground with many large trees providing shade. Just a short walk to the Little Missouri River and right next to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Bathhouses are fair in terms of age and cleanliness.

Ok
We got a spot with electric but not to run all our appliances... But that was okay we have a small RV.
Know this: laundry room closes at 6:30. Would be easy to have a code there but .. never mind! It only cost $1 for one load!! Very cheap!
The spots are super small, like others said, you are sleeping with your neighbors. To be honest I didn't mind it was only for one night and we are in a RV... Who cares? But I can understand if you stay longer that could be annoying.
They is a nice playground for children. The staff was pretty nice.
Very close to the Roosevelt Park and to town. A small pool at the entrance.
A small dump station.

Decent Campground In Small Town
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, bathrooms were cleaned multiple times a day. Laundry facilities and showers were accessible. Yes the spots are packed in tight, but they are mostly pull throughs. Multiple options for different budgets, I got a 20 amp with water and sewer for $30 a night. I think 30 amp was about $40. Adorable town and right next to the national park entrance! I also recommend the Boots Bar and Grill for dinner!

Don't Do It
Stayed here 2 nights while visiting Roosevelt NP. The sites were so close together we couldn't open our awning. When we stepped out our door we were looking right in bedroom if camper next to us.
Dust and bugs all day and night.
Weeds too.
There are not many camping options in Medora. Consider driving farther to get to the park. You will be glad you did.

Incorrect address on website, had to call for directions. Cute town. No grass, dirty/dusty campgrounds, and strong smell of sewer. Nice bathrooms and showers. Friendly and accommodating staff. Nice views.

Paved bike trail south to town, and about one mile north to the interstate where it ends.

Nice place and great location in relation to Medora. Lots of stuff for the kids. Fair pricing. Clean bathrooms. But they really pack them in tight. Tent spots not very private.
