So So, But Convenient Off Hwy
We’ve stayed here many times over the years & I don’t think it’s improved. They are expanding for premier sites, so prices will go up. Unlevel sites in a lot of spots. Lots of kids this time in the pool. Dogs, Dogs, dogs all barking when they meet on their walks. Pink Cadillac Cafe still there, needs a face lift & some cleaning. Gas station card reader at entrance of KOA didn’t work. 🥺

Always make this our stop going south. Very nice, clean and quiet campground. Easy off highway. Caverns nearby and a zoo right next door. The Pink Cadillac restaurant across the street is excellent. Would highly recommend.

This KOA is perfect. Right off of 81. The laundry mat is clean with working appliances. Very shady. Camp staff is very friendly.

Started staying here in a cabin years ago. Travel from Fl to up state NY at least twice a year. So convenient on and off. Over the years we upgraded to a travel trailer and now an RV. Neg. -Yes it is tight. The dog park needs a rake up. Positive- Staff is fantastic! The place is ( bathroom, laundry, pool) clean!!! Thank goodness for the gas station. The Cafe across the street was great - hope it is still there next week!

As others have noted, it is an easy on/off from I81 with an accessible gas station at the exit. My site was pretty unlevel front to back and side to side. I was unable to fully level the MH. I stayed for one nite, would stay again due to the convenient location.

Great location
We were looking for a one night spot while passing through and this is very conveniently located off the highway. It’s tucked back in the woods so you don’t hear traffic noise but very easy to get off highway and just roll in. Also a gas station at the end of the driveway to campground so very easy to fuel up and go.

Beautiful location and friendly people. Easy on and off 81. Location convenient to the Safari Park. Wish we had more time to spend there.

Lovely Campground
Nice location right off I-81, but very quiet. We had one of the tiered pull through sites. No problem getting level. Very convenient for an overnight. But nice amenities for a longer stay. Staff is very helpful.

Not For Big RV’s
We spent one night in a pull through for our 36 ft RV plus a tow vehicle. Unable to open our canopy due to trees on that side. Sites are way too narrow. Barely had room to open the slides. Staff offered to move us but it was raining so we spent one night and left. WiFi is non- existent. Nice wide entrance into the park though.

Great Campground Great Price
Bath houses VERY clean. Pull through site was perfectly sized. Location perfect to Natural Bridge and Lexington. Make sure you eat at the Pink Cadillac and shop at Lanes Country store. Great price, will camp here again.

Easy Pull Through Sites
We pulled up right after they closed and were blessed enough to catch the owners. They were nice enough to find us an open site and led us there. The site was an easy pull through. Which was great since it was dark. The bathrooms were warm clean and updated. Owners were very accommodating and friendly. The only thing wrong was our site as super sloped to the side. But overall it was a very convenient overnight stay.

Clean, Friendly, Convenient!
Just off of 81, we had a full hook-up site with easy pull through. 24-hour laundry was immaculate! No change machine for laundry, but later office hours was helpful. Sites were not very level, but they were gravel, and very nice. Best cable so far! Wi-Fi was terrible. Sewer hook up was encased in cement which made it impossible to screw in your elbow. Very short drive from Natural Bridge State Park, which was incredible! Aside from those few things, we will definitely stay here again!

Loved!
Easy off the highway and very clean. Pretty empty so didn't mind the tightness. Beautiful setting with well maintained areas. Friendly staff. Shower house was super clean! Great for overnight and reasonable.

Tight
I would have given it a four had it not been for price and the very narrow Lanes. Towing a 40-foot toy hauler. Very steep but then again you're in Virginia so take that into consideration. It's a beautiful Park. Smaller units would be ideal for this park. It's definitely a family atmosphere but we just overnighted. For the price not worth just overnight spot.

Weekend Travelers
Not a bad Camp ground. Not really big right friendly. Tight turns and just are hard to move around.. over all it is a nice Camp ground. Been at better. I would come back. Bath houses need ventilation. Overflow lot in the sun. No shad and really poor location. But if that's all they have. It was still 40.00 for the overflow. Not really worth 40.00.

Nice location ez on and off I81 Clean restrooms NO level sites. Will need boards for under tries. Okay for overnight stop. Some sites better then others. Sites to small for big rigs or pulling a car. I gave it 3.5 stars

First Class Facility
The site and facilities, site, cable tv were first class. However the wifi was poor; it was extremely slow; plus it wouldn't let you download a Kindle book at any speed it just kicked you off. The bath house was best we have used, excellent

Kid friendly. Playground. Peacocks roaming around were an added bonus. Laundry was clean. Bathroom needed some work. 2 of the women's showers were out of order, but shower water pressure was ok. Quiet.
