Full hookups available. Restrooms are locked but only $15 a night. Leave payment on the back of the restroom building. Great place to stay if you want a reasonable area not far from I37.

Great For a Cheap Overnight On The Way
TIps Park is a public city park with a dozen or so RV spots. It has definitely seen better days, but the town does a good job mowing and keeping trash picked up. There’s water, sewer and electricity. It’s supposed to be $15 a night and pay the park host. There was no park host the night we stayed. So it’s a cash only honesty system with a drop slot on the back of the bathroom building. (Bathrooms are closed and locked.) There was only us, two other rigs, and an antique airstream that looks permanent but with no one there. There were a few locals shooting hoops during the day and some by the river fishing. Yes it’s across the river from the Valero refinery, but the noise is indistinguishable from the river over the dam. Quiet, low traffic, and cheap. Perfection a one night stop.

A Bit Strange
Only one abandoned Airstream here and no signs of life. Restrooms locked. Water on. Recently mowed by city and trash picked up. A cute city park on the banks of a river, BUT right across from a Valero refinery - constant noise and lights. Close to the highway and city. Good grocery close by. Otherwise not much. A few fisherman came by. No host, no pay envelopes, but a drop box at the rear of the restroom building.
