Large campsites, friendly hosts, great fishing, starry nights. Already booked several trips back.

Nice Water Access
Similar to rocky creek down the road, half of the camping areas are still closed from the hurricane- once those open up there will be lots of waterside spots. The campground that is open is up on elevation and depending on the spot, you can have a great view but the campground that is open is on a bluff and is a short walk to the water. Spots are pretty tight but in good condition. LOTS of deer everywhere!

Camping
Really nice camping sites clean bathrooms and not far from town.

Sites are packed tight. A portion is closed due to repeated flooding. Reservations only, which we never do, but was a black mark right off. However, two thirds of the sites are empty, so what was the big deal. The grass isn’t grass. It is weeds that look like grass that are full of nasty stickers that torture your pet and stick to your shoes. The worst C.O.E. campground we have ever been to on our tour if the country.

Good Park
The park is clean with an abundant amount of wildlife. Most of the sites have good lake views but the sites are close together. It's a good park and we will camp here again.
