Great spot for the night & price
we stayed here for 1 night each way, heading out of texas & coming back home.... it's a very nice spot but there are trains that run through the night but if your airco is on you probably won't hear them.... the setting is very nice including the nice little pond to walk around.... $15 on the honor system

Gem On The Road
What a great spot to stay for the night. Water, electric, picnic table- very level space. There is a large playground, lake with beautiful walking trails (that are wheelchair accessible), very clean and quite. We will definitely stay again when traveling thru town. When you enter the park stay right to find the sites (there are 5).

Nice Overnight Stop
Only reason for 3 stars is no sewer and all back inside. Still we use this park every trip to and from Texas for the winter. Previous reviews say it all but never have heard a train.

Great Find
Nice little spot to rest for the night. Nice walking trail and small lake. Clean, well maintained and quiet for the most part. There is a ball field just next to the RV spots so could be a little noisy depending on time of year. Drop box for payment.

Surprising Find
The park is a surprising find in the middle-of-nowhere Texas. It's a big park with nice walking trails, a lake, a large playground, picnic areas, and a swimming pool (we didn't go to the pool, but it looks like a municipal pool). The playground is really fun for the kids with a mix of old-school and newer style features. The campsites are simple, back-in grass/dirt lots that seem plenty big for most trailers. We have a 18' TT, but we saw a big fifth wheel in another space (at least a 30 footer). It's great for the price ($15), but 4 stars because no facilities or dump station.

Not bad for $15 per night, water and electric only, fairly level sites, 3 days max per stay.

Simple & Inexpensive Overnight Stop
We stopped while passing through to our destination and needed an overnight spot to rest. Self pay, felt safe and some lighting from the park area. Good 50 amp electrical connections. Kids had a blast using the older playground in the morning. It's older but city seems welcoming to RVers.
Back in grass sites were fairly level and had picnic tables.
Rating is because site is basic but for $15 and electricity you can't beat. If you are an RV resort type person you will want to pass.......but if you don't mind it will work for you.

Nice Park But Noisy
This is a beautiful large park with a lake and other amenities. The rv sites are level and pleasant. They have an honor system fee kiosk. The coal train tracks are very close so you may get awakened a few times
