Great place to stay. Great staff. As far south on Hatteras Island as you can go to camp, but worth the drive. Good facility, clean grounds and bath house, large pool, small laundry room, good cable, but weak wi-fi. Nice location close to Ocracoke ferry. Did I mention really great staff. We'll be back.

Hatteras Sands Campground

July 8th - July 15th 2017 75% full $58 per night for waterfront standard back in Full hook up (50A) water, cable, sewer Wireless is spotty at best so YMMV Discounts of up to 10% (see website) Nice campground. Steve and Christy manage it and were great people. We could literally step out of camper and fish. Caught Drum, Spot, and Croaker. Caught a ton of crabs every day. Easy access to everything on island. Big pool. Good bathhouse. Hot tub and one of the two washers were broken. Steve said they were probably keeping hot tub off (kids were ignoring rules). Part for broken washer was being installed later in week. Wireless was crap but not many campgrounds I've stayed at has good internet. Solid 4 out of 5 campground
