Excellent Park But Not Located Here
Great staff, helpful and service-oriented. Big sites with trees galore. It’s just further south on US-23 by ~1 1/2 miles.

Motorcycle Trip
This place is HUGE but super nice staff as we rolled in after sunset on motorcycles and they were so friendly and welcoming of us and we were put on the water with a awesome view ... 100% will be back for more than one night and would recommend

Great Camground
We tent camped right on Lake Huron. The site was large and well maintained. The staff was friendly and the camp store was one of the best I have seen in our travels. My only complaint is not enough facilities for the size of the campground. They could use more showers and another dump station or 2 for the size of it. We had a nice stay and will definitely visit again.

EVERYTHING WAS GREAT
I can’t complain about anything here. Wonderful RV park. The grounds were kept impeccable, bathrooms and showers were always clean, and don’t forget the location. Walk out and enjoy the lake!

First time being here, it was a nice campground. We were on the opposite side of the store, pool and playground. It was a HUGE campground so make sure you bring a bike or another form of transportation. Can’t wait to go back next year and get a bridge view site.

Exceeded Expectations
We stayed in a narrow bridge view site looking out on Lake Huron and the bridge and loved it. Check-in process was efficient. Even though the site was narrow (as advertised and expected), it was plenty deep and felt private due to the plantings (arborvitae & trees) between sites. We dropped our paddle board and kayak into the water from our campsite and watched the Mackinaw City Friday fireworks from our site as well. The fire rings on the sites are movable to allow flexibility to have a fire in either the front or back of your site (we did both) and there are also several community rings right on the water. Bikes are very popular here given the campground size. Campground was crowed on weekends but always clean. The free Wi-Fi was spotty but no worse than a typical campground wi-fi. My cellular coverage (Verizon) was sporty as well.

Love This Campground!
Highly recommend. It is huge, lots of walking and exploring to do. The views can't be beat, and it's so quiet at night. Be sure to look at site sizes online, they're pretty accurate for what will fit well.

2020 Reservation Process
We have been staying at this campground since 2015. Great place for kids of all ages. Beautiful area. The Bridge view sites are narrow. with a great view. You can get your slide out or your awning, not both. I can do without the awning for the view at these sites. New for 2020. Reservations to be made On-Line ONLY. Not happy with this new method. I like to be able to talk to someone in order to make a reservation. Took away one star for the new reservation format.

Met All Expectations
Spent 4 nights, at the beginning of off season. All the staff members were friendly and courteous. I had requested an awning view, bridge view site and got exactly what I hoped for. Beautiful view, narrow but well cared for site. Pet friendly. I thought the owners had done a fine job of maintaining some privacy and a somewhat rustic setting while providing lots of campsites that meet all different requirements. The new reservation method makes it time consuming to determine rates for each of the different types of sites/cabins but the staff has been very quick to answer questions via email or phone.

Camp ground was well cared for and nice workers very friendly. Camp site was not good paid for a large site and got a very small site. Trees were in the way could not put my awning down, camper barely fit on the site.

Very impressed with campground. Large sites surrounded by trees - felt very secluded. All amenities-store, pool, and right on the lake! Would recommend it to anyone!

Disappointed
Our electric site was shared and required a 45 ft cord. Only two dump sites for hundreds of campers. The dump site has homemade sliding gates to the sewer pipes, and standard hose fittings cannot be used....only dumped to the slab...trash dumpsters were all over flowi ng... wad giving 2 stars until I saw the RV dump that woldn't accept hose fittings.

Shuttle Service
We picked this campground because they offered a shuttle to the ferry to Mackinac Island. They offered full hook ups and we were close to the water. Other than that it was pretty packed/crowded. Not sure we would choose this place again.

Beautiful
We are staying 4 nights I wish it could be longer. Our site is very nice and large. We are not on the water but it’s not far. The sites on the water look wonderful. if I every make it back I will stay here again. The bathrooms are very clean. There isn’t thing I can think of wrong with this camp ground. You will not be disappointed.

Nice Park
We enjoyed our stay. The park is well maintained with friendly staff. Our site was set well back from the lake, but was generously sized with trees for shade. Many of the sites closer to the lake are tight, but there were some that might accommodate big rigs. Interior roads are all in good shape, some are narrow but doable in a big rig. There are large grassy common areas along the lake with picnic tables and benches, or bring your chairs down to sit in the shade and enjoy the view. There’s also a swimming beach. The shuttle to the ferry left the park on time and we were picked up as soon as our ferry docked. We’ll stay here again.

We were just a few sites from the water. Large campground that had everything for the family camper. Our site was a little tight due to small trees. Needs a little tree work thinning out some of the scrub trees. Grass overgrown on some sites.

Beautiful campground
First let me the bridge view was beautiful. The fireworks over the bridge was a beautiful site to see. The rippling waves and the fire pit on the lake was great. The cabins where my parents stayed were spacious and they loved it. The sites were small and the bugs were pretty bad. Overall, it was a good stay. We stayed here in on the first week of June.

Location Location Location
We stayed at MMC the week of June 9th, 8 nights. We had a fabulous time. The campground is HUGE, but was only 10-20% full when we were there. Lots of site type options, however many of the sites are narrow, especially if you want a waterfront or bridge view. They have a large clean shower house & modern restrooms, but they are on the far side of the campground, so it could be quite a hike if you are on the opposite side (which seemed to be mostly full hook up and beautiful cabins). There are pit toilets scattered throughout, but a couple seemed to be locked up. There is a beautiful park along the lakeshore with group fire pits and an amazing view of Mackinac Bridge & Island. The camp store was amazing. Staff was friendly & helpful. Mosquitoes were not bad, but midge flies along the water could be annoying. For the price & proximity to all that Mackinaw offers, it was perfect. I can't imagine what the park would be like if it was completely full...but we highly recommend it.

A Kids Dream, Beautiful Views, Small Lot
Wow...this is a kids dream. They have everything. Lots of biking, pool, playgrounds galore, camp store, fire truck rides, beach. This is by far the biggest campground I've ever stayed at. The view is amazing. Right on lake Huron the views of the bridge and all the fire pit spots and green space was wonderful. Not a 5 star just because the lakeview lots are so tight unless you have a corner lot. Could only get our travel trailer slide out...not awning. No way you could do a double slide out. Would suggest researching lots before picking. However, not much room to move but right across from the green space on the lake. Overall great time even for a short 2 day stay. We could have done one whole day with the kids just hanging at the campgrounds.

This campground is my favorite. This park is clean, very well maintained, and the showers are even super clean. I stayed 4 nights and there was hardly any mosquitos there. I just love this park. It's my 4th time there and I'll be back more.

Beautiful View
I don't usually write reviews but WOW. We opted for the bridge view site, and even though it was a little more expensive still worth every penny. We are actually in a satellite spot about a half mile away from the campground but still owned by MMC. This is the cabin rental side with spots for 5 campers. If you are camping without kids and don't care about the pool this is the spot. Very peaceful very quiet and all about relaxing while listening to the waves crash on the shore. Oh and an extra bonus was the fireworks last night at Mackinaw City that were easily viewed from my gravity chair under the awning.

For the most part this is a really nice campground. It has issues but what doesn’t anymore. The lots are rather short and narrow for big rigs. We were not able to open our awnings, lot was too narrow. And it is also a camp ground. Our first four nights were great. Our last night there were people running and driving around until after 1:30 am.

Drove thru this campground. The lake sites are secluded but not for bigger campers n are on sand. Full of mosquitoes. The backin sites are totally SMALL. Not even wide enuf for slides n picnic table to be comfortable n small like Vineyard bushes between. Would never stay here w anything big. More for tents n pop ups. It reminds me of the storage area where we keep are trailer, maybe a little wider. Views are prob what sell this place. Cabins looked cute

Nothing Special
This place is huge and they don't maintain anything. Called the office to ask a question and they were so busy they couldn't even answer the phone. The only nice think about this place is lake and the bridge. There beach isn't maintained or nice at all.

Mill Creek
Nice view with the basics. Water, electric and sewer. Wifi is additional cost and works some of the time but the premium package for streaming is a waste of money. Gravel and dirt roads and sites that need some attention. Office staff is friendly but doesn't really act like they want to be bothered by customers. If you have pets there really isn't any grass just talk weeds that haven't been mowed. There are better options in the area!
