One Night Stop
We booked online easily. We were given a site across the driveway from the office. The staff was friendly and helpful getting us parked and even offered to help us set up! ( Not necessary though). Sites seemed like most privately owned campgrounds, not very big but level. Laundry room was clean and they will deliver pizza and wings to your camper if you want. Picked up plenty of TV stations with the antenna. I25 and train tracks aren't far away and you do hear them. Our 26' travel trailer fit through the tunnel which was 13'. Watch that if you have a big rig though. It was exit 108 northbound. Honestly, KOA isn't what we normally look for unless we need to do laundry, dump and get water but if we needed those services we would stop again.

Super Helpful
Week of July 18-19 everything was booked even hotels , originally when we called the campground was booked. But calls back and told our situation and they found us an RV spot , was only a 20amp but worked for what we needed. Thanks so much.

Great Place For A Stop
Just needed a night sleep while driving back to TX from Yellowstone. Owner was extremely helpful. Said
they had no spaces left in the computer, but someone just left (730pm). She had someone check the spot and got us in. We got in at 9pm and very easy night check-in with clear instructions. Very wide
gravel spaces, level, easy hook-ups. We didn’t need wi-fi; the 4G was just fine. Heard one train at 930 and then none. Right off highway so some traffic noise, but with the doors and windows shut, it wasn’t
an issue at all. We didn’t use any amenities as we left first thing. Not a bad place to stop over. We were
on 25 south, so no tunnels to go under in that direction as some reviewers noted. But the tunnel from
northbound is 13’3’’ so beware and use exit 110 (exit 108 is where the park is) where it’s 13’9’’ if you
have a tall camper.

1 Night Only
Watch out for 13’ 3” tunnel for Northbound drivers. Drive west on Hwy 50, turn right on Purcel and drive until road dead ends at tunnel - you turn left just before tunnel into park.
Once you get there you will find pull thrus pretty close. We regrettably paid extra for the private patio. Save your money. The KOA website makes you think you have a view of the mountains...wrong. There is a view if you standup. While sitting down your view is 360 degrees of a wooden fence that needs painting! The ground is covered with rock with minimal shade.
Didn’t use showers but did use laundry which has newer machines.
I would consider this a “we have driven too far and need to stop”. If you want KOA, then go to Pueblo South KOA. Still easy on/off and the park has nice view of open area

Noisy, No Grass, Fast Drivers In Park
We stopped here for one night. The low clearance tunnel wasn’t a big issue as we just went to the next exit as advised by the KOA. Clean bathrooms. Nice to have the large fenced dog run but it is 100% dirt so be prepared for messy pups. Interstate and train noise are significant throughout the night. But the biggest issue I had was several people driving too fast through the park. Did not feel safe for my kids to be outside walking to and from the playgrounds. Appears most of the park is full timers so perhaps they’re just not used to watching and slowing down for little people.

Great Staff!
Such an easy stop on the way to Colorado—recommended! Every single person on staff during this busy holiday time was helpful and went out of their way for us (like letting us order last minute pizza). We will stay again.

Nice Overnight Stop
We were glad to be warned in other reviews about the one lane tunnel so it didn't scare us. We came from the south, made a wide left turn to take it straight on. No problem. Park and people were very nice. Good take home pizza counter. Clean hot Hot Tub. We had no reservation and was able to get in. May 2018. 35' Class A with dolly/tow. Good spacious roads and pull throughs.

Easy Access, Well Maintained KOA
Just north of Pueblo off I25 with easy access if your southbound. Narrow but tall (13') tunnel for northbound. Well maintained but we were just passing through for 1 night. Only issue are the train whistles at night.

Pleasant Stay
We travel all over the country and regularly stay at KOA's. We stayed here two nights. This KOA is clean, has clean showers and restrooms, and clean laundry facility. They pick up your trash from the side of your space and fill up your propane tanks as well. The swimming pool was not the cleanest when we stayed but then again there is a huge tree on the side of the pool which makes for nice shade while enjoying a swim. The staff are very nice and helpful people. We will definitely stay here again!

Cross country Travelers
My family and I are traveling cross country. This KOA has very nice staff and lovely grounds. They are making some improvements that look very nice. Our gravel pull thru site (we have 31ft class c) was nearly level. They have a pool, pillow bouncer, and a walking/biking trail that we all enjoyed. There is a one lane short tunnel under the interstate that we had to drive thru but it wasn't a problem. All in all it is a nice place for our needs as we are only stayed one night and we would stay again.

Was hard to access with the single tunnel under the freeways. Dog park is far from campsites and behind stored RV's. Felt very uncomfortable going out there alone. No shade except at the pool. Not really pet friendly as there is no real grass spots. Will pass this one next time.

Awesome Owners/Staff
The staff at this koa go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Frome ice cream socials to pancake breakfasts, pool facilities, two playgrounds and a giant jumping pillow, this place has it all. The sites are being updated and should make this nice little park even nicer. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area.
