Nice But At Best A 3 Star Park
On its very best day I could call this a 3 star. There is nothing 5 star here at all. I only stayed here because of ALL the other 5 star ratings which are very misleading. The owner was nice and the park is all full hookup sites. There is also a nice pool but not heated. The sites are level and wide and spacious. This could be a great location if you want to see Pikes Peak, Rita the Troll, Florissant NM or particularly fly fish the Arkansas river. We did all this so the location worked for us. This site is in the open CO prairie and five miles from another structure. Truly in the boonies. The views of the local mountains was nice. On the downside, the wind is relentless and no one puts there shade canopy’s out. There are a few trees but basically no shade. They have some grass but it looks pretty brown. The water is undrinkable because of the minerals. The noise from HWY 50, 100 yards away, is bad all night. There is one washer/dryer which we were discouraged from using.

Great Campground
I can’t say enough about this hidden gem! The owners are super friendly but Nancy goes above and beyond! She had maps of all the site seeing places and routes we didn’t know of which ended up being great and time saving. She directed us to a hidden gem winery which we had a tasting and met a wonderful owner and stories of his adventures. Plenty of room for big rigs and small. Electric and water but bring your own drinking water! The pool was cold but the view of Pikes Peak and all the surrounding mountains were amazing!! Check this place out!!! We were there 4 days the end of May.❤️

Best Place Ever
Been to many “resorts “ but this is far better. It’s like being home with all the amenities and the owners are just like family. Plus the views are amazing. Can’t say enough good things about it. We may come back to Colorado just to come here. Although it’s a bit far from Mississippi.

Unexpected gem
We don't usually stay at RV parks, but we really enjoyed our over night stay at Haggard's RV Park. My wife called it an unexpected gem. Nancy, the owner, was very welcoming and set the tone for the visit. She suggested some sites and we found one that was perfect for us with beautiful views across the prairie to the mountains and a spectacular sunset to boot. Nancy came around offering ice at one point and, later, watermellon. There is a nice dog park on-site. In fact, the best we've seen while traveling. Our older greyhound, who usually just follows us, actually did a few laps. Nancy's attention to detail was evident in the way she decorated the bathhouse to create a more personal, at-home feel. Haggard's is on our list of campgrounds to return to in the future.

Great spot for one night or a week.
Large sites that are well kept and the largest dog run ever. The staff works hard and the clean pool is inviting. Beautiful vistas with an occasional Prong Antelope on the plains. Great access to area attractions. Much better than the closet tight spacing and higher rates of camps closer to Pikes Peak and Royal Gorge. Clean , quite base camp. Can’t beat it.

Loved It
We loved this place, beautiful views but windy windy windy 😂
Need a filter for your RV and bottled water. They had lots of iron in the water. Also very few washers. The beauty and hospitality certainly made up for it! I’d come back.

Home In Colorado!!!
Our group of 3 RV trailers spend 3 nights there. We were able to visit several places from there including Pikes Peak and The River Walk in Pueblo.
Nancy was as nice and helpful as she could be. It felt like we were at home…

Friendly And Welcoming
We visited for one night on 4th of July and we were able to join the community there for some hot dogs and hamburgers. Nancy was very helpful and nice to us on our first day out camping in an RV. Easy to access, playground was good for the kids, pool looked great but was too cold due to storms. Clean and accessible showers. Thank you Haggard’s

Enjoyed The Stay
My wife and I have stayed here the last two years and enjoyed every minute there. The Haggard's are very gracious folks. The second year our RV decided to fall apart on us and we had to extend our stay. Nancy was kind enough to let us extend another week. We are forever grateful to her and her family. We do plan to come back soon. Five stars are not enough.

Great Place
We had a great time at Haggards RV. The owner was very nice and when we needed to extend our stay 1 more night it was no problem. We will definitely be back.

Or Favorite Place In The Area
We love this place and the owners! They are such great people. She really knows how to run this park and always finds a spot for us.
Be sure to use a water filter as the mineral content from the well they run on is very high.

Only stayed one night, but wish we could have stayed longer. After arrival, was given a tour of the facility by Nancy Haggard. She couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Made sure we were comfortable with the pull through she assigned us, and told us to go ahead and set up at the site and to worry about the paperwork later. I missed her call, but she left a message saying it could all be done over the phone. She was just trying to save me the walk back to the office. After taking care of the paperwork, I asked her about a routing through Colorado, and if my rig(40 foot motorhome and 24 foot trailer) would be able to handle it. She called her husband, a former truck driver, and handed me the phone. He was very informative and warned me that the route I wanted might be a little overwhelming. Saved us a lot of trouble. The facility is very peaceful. Clean bathrooms, showers, and a nice swimming pool. Witnessed a beautiful sunset too. Will come back when we can stay longer for sure!
