All About The Location
Stayed 3 nights at this high elevation park. No hook ups and had to fill up my water tank at the dump station area - where there’s a potable water hose. Bring your leveling blocks as the sites need them. The bathrooms are some of nicest ones I’ve seen in a National Park. (No showers though) The location makes it all worth it! Right in the middle of the park with quick access to trails, dunes and breathtaking views. Although it’s a dark sky park, and you can see the Milky Way on a clear moonless night, it’s not as dark as I have experienced in other parks in the Southwest.

Nice Place To Stay With Great View
Stayed one night. No hookups but really did not need them. Sites are not very level but ok. Great view of the dunes in loop 1.

Great park. Camping spots were good. We will be hitting this park again.

Great Campground For Tents!
Our 30' trailer could only fit in spot #1. We were lucky that it was available!
