Way out of line @ $70 for intense traffic noise at a major intersection 4 lane road. No amenities the gravel spot was level and a hiking trail. No office or store just a small walk up window.. Worth $40 to $50 max.

Planned to stay a couple of nights. Had truck issues and had to order and wait for parts, which extended our stay to a week. Every staff member treated us like their honored guests. They took pity on us and did everything they could to accommodate us in this situation. The park is clean, well-maintained, with great staff. Laundry facility was spotless! The location is good in that we were able to walk to get groceries and go out to breakfast. And we were so grateful for all the kindnesses shown!

By The Verde River
Gravel sites above the Verde River. The showers and heated bathrooms were individually setup with a lock code. Nice little hike to the river. Beautiful Fall colors. Our little class c fit easily. There were rigs of all sizes. My wife wants to come here again.

Nice time
Nice park by a stream. As long as you are by the stream it’s pretty and has shade trees. Clean park, restrooms closed due to Covid. Cable didn’t work and WiFi was to far from router and didn’t work. That being said it was nice and we had good company with us so it didn’t matter. Close drive to Sedona and nice office staff.

Not Too Shabby
Spaces were big enough to get 40 foot fifth wheel in relatively easy. Was a little pricey but it is their peak season. The bathrooms were OK, laundry was a little dated, staff was pleasant. Wi-Fi was pretty good, but you could not watch Netflix or stream video.

Nice Get Away Location
My wife, 2 dogs, and I stayed here for 3 nights. We had a site along the Verde River. It provided a nice tranquil sound in a relatively quiet park. Most campsites were quiet by 9pm and there were no “party sites.” They have a nice grassy dog walk area with collection bags and a bucket for disposal. The sites were fairly level and had 30 amp and 50 amp, cable TV, and city water hookups. All worked great with no interruptions. We arrived after hours and they had a site map and general instructions pinned to the bulletin board for us. Wineries and great food just a short drive away. We will definitely stay here again.

Good Location
We wanted to stay in Sedona but no vacancies. This is really a convenient location with easy, scenic drive to Sedona. Close to shopping and restaurants. The park was in good condition. Kinda rustic, good amenities, and nice walk along the Verde River which runs along the campground. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Skoolie And Tiny house Friendly :)
I stayed at Rio Verde RV Park for about 4 months in my 40ft skoolie #thegreatgreenbus. During that time a tiny house came for a month or so and 2 other skoolies. The staff is so friendly and generous. Restrooms are fine. Always nice and warm during the winter. Very clean. They are constantly updating and making it better. Several long term folk but you wouldn't even notice or bother to know who was who. I already have a reservation booked for a month this spring before heading north. Highly recommend.

Weekend Away
Friendly staff. Allowed setting up before paying so gave the opportunity to move to a different site or park. Not a picturesque park but reasonably quiet with level sites. Had to buy a sewer hose extension because couldn't reach the outlet, but not a problem. Walmart in town. There are plenty of dog waste cans but no bags for pick up. I always carry my own. A lot of long term, friendly residents.

Week From Hell (Temperatures) 7x105•F+
Thank god our A/C worked and we had a shady spot. All utilities worked with a short electrical outage during record temps. No big deal that we pulled in Sat night and couldn't pay until Monday night. Quiet even tho #6 was toward 89A. Never used bathroom/shower so can't rate that. Worked well for us. 20' RPod + Xterra.
