Wonderful Once Again
Site 58, very close to the Sudo boat launch. Park entrance is packed day use vehicles, avoid Sat afternoons. A good mixture of open, private or wooded sites. The comfort station at High Bluffs has 7 showers; the hot water was good for a full campground. Lake Ontario is low once again so the beach is great.
The water fill station is at the dump station exit. Stick to the left lane to fill as the right lane has no hose to fill if your tank valve is on the right.
Cell signal is weak 1 maybe 2 bars.

Campsite is fine. Toilets are gross, smelly and disgusting, except at the beaches. Beaches was washed away due to high water. Kids still enjoyed the water because they could play in a huge paddle!!

CAMPING
We were there first week in May, had a site facing the swamp, tons of sticks from wind storms, lots of stagnant water around wouldn't want this site in July or August. All in all not a bad park but wouldn't go back.

We were at the park in August of 2018 and found a site along the water, which was beautiful. As others have mentioned the sites amongst the trees can be damp and buggy. Lots of trails, adjacent beach areas, cycling and fishing.
Facilities were clean, staff polite and helpful and there is a small town close by for eateries and shopping. Recommended.

Nice Place But.....
It's a nice place but in the spring time there is alot of standing water only could imagine that come late May to early June the mosquitoes are as thick as thieves. We were there beginning of May 2018 and our site was right on the lake great site some mud but no big deal, other sites there was mud as well but that's spring time. All and all I liked the park lots to do and see we really enjoyed our weekend. I can't comment on the washrooms or showers as we never used them.
