Stayed Here 9/21/2024
We were headed into east side of Yellowstone NP, after spending the day in Cody. I saw that there were several USFS CGs along the way so I hoped we would get lucky and find something. This CG was so nice we picked a site and then used an envelope at the entrance to register and put money in it. There were a surprising number of other campers (no tents allowed) and things kept filling up around dinner time. Lots of trees and sites r well spaced out. Vault toilets were clean. We used electric as it was quite cold at night. Filled water at the entrance in the morning. Carried bearspray while walking the dog around the park but thankfully didn't see any. One side loop of this CG has electric and one side does not. We were only a few miles from NP entrance and left early next morning. Would stop again.

Great river side campsites. Clean and accessible for big rigs. Would come again. Watch for bear activity upriver near the park. Awesome.

Great Place Large Unit Friendly
We had no issues getting our 75' unit in a pull through spot and around the place.

We stayed here Aug of 2016. This is on of the best parks we stayed in. We stayed in a 39ft fith wheel. There are plenty of longer sights in this park, some with power. $9 With sinior card. Very nice. They had bears across the river. Camp host was the best.

Wow
Loved our time there. Gave us wonderful memories. The most beautiful in late August and early September. If you go you will be wowed.

Nice campground, camp hosts were very nice and knowledgable about the area. Central to Cody and Yellowstone. Would definitely go back.
