Great Spot
Passing through, needed an overnight, and this place was perfect. Campground apparently run by the county; they have a tight little loop of 8 sites with electric, and maybe 25 addl sites without any hookups spread along the lakefront. Here in med-Sept, quiet with many open sites. Ours was gravel and level. Great boat ramp, we paddled our kayaks around; very peaceful. Would definitely return.

Nice Area
We stopped in for one night on June 29th 2023. We arrived late around 8:30 pm. Drove around to find an open site. Found 3 open, stayed in site 57. Site was level, not to hard to back in our 18 foot trailer. Lot of mosquitoes but you are close to a lake. Antelope walking through the camp. Would stay here again, hopefully longer next time.

Beautiful And Picturesque
One of the most beautiful spots in Wyoming. All spots are first come first served. Eight have electrical hookups for $20 a night. All other spots, which there are many cost $15. Toilets available but no showers. Easy access to and from freeway. Definitely would stay again.

Probably A Local Favorite Spot
We pulled in late with little hopes of getting one of the first come first serve no reservation 8 electric back in sites... We were very surprised that 4 were still available for self check in for $20. Great level sites for our truck and 23' travel trailer. Very family friendly, great view of the lake. We were very thankful to have access to this great campsite with electric hookups. The only downfalls so far seem to be no water or sewer hookups and no dump station. But it is great.

Quiet Spot Right On The Lake
Literally blew in here off of a Bighorn windstorm and so very glad I did. Happened to meet the gracious owner, Char (Charlotte) at the entrance and she led me down to a lake side spot. There are a few sites with electrical hookups (we arrived too late for one), but most and the prettiest sites, are along the Lake. Very quiet spot and would come here again.

Another Nice Stay
We stayed here for 5 nights. We were out adventuring, seeing things like Ft. Phil Kearney, and the Wagon box memorial, and visiting family most of the time, but we felt that the rig would be safe while we were away, and it was. The only thing I didnt like is when the host came to mow our site and didnt announce he was going to and when my husband came out with the dog, was told to wait inside. Why couldn't he wait until we left to mow?

What a great spot! 40' motorcoach fit easily. Enjoyed spot 25 for a few days. Dry camping at its best. There's a store and restaurant 20 minute walk.

Beautiful
We stayed here for three Days and nights. It was the 4th of July weekend, but still not crowded. We stayed right by the lake where there were no hookups. The spaces are very large. We stayed parallel to the lake and still had at least 10 feet on each side of us. There was a large cement picnic table, and large fire pit aligned with rocks. My family fished, and kayaked, and went swimming. Two nights out of the three the winds came up very strong and rocked us to sleep. They had fireworks July 3rd, and during the fireworks display the wind came up and they had to finish the fireworks the next night. We will definitely come by here next time we are in Wyoming. The town of Buffalo is about 10 minutes away.

This Was An Awesome Place!
There are only 8 electorial sites but over a hundred sites total. Great views and fishing. We stayed at one of the electrical sites but would have been very happy at a non electic sites if we didn't need to charge batteries. This is wonderful place and lots of room.

Stayed 3 nights in October, only 2 other in the electric sites (8 total) and few others in the disperse areas. This spot is perfect for those that like water activities, two boat ramps. The only bad thing is that the electric sites are in a little hill and the half at the bottom are very close to the electric cables above (you can hear the zooming) we stayed in spot #5 which was level and long enough for our 32' ACE with toad in the front.
There seem to be different spots in the main campground but I think for the bigger rigs the second entrance have more level and bigger sites.
Dump station at gas station in town, no water to fill and didn't go to bathrooms. The trash collection is until Oct. 15.
Excellent Verizon signal for our hotspots
