Booked a last minute site here while visiting family in Madison. Everything closer to the city was booked unfortunately. Ended up leaving after one night. Note the campground is not really in the park but on a side street by a very busy road. No tree cover protection from the road made it very difficult to sleep. Not to mention all the bright lights from neighborhood businesses. Would have rather stayed in a Walmart parking lot because the shower was the only benefit of this “campground”. Moved instead to Lake Farm County Park which was great.

Had an appointment @ UW kidney transplant clinic & this park is a few miles away from the hospital. Well shaded and the host was exceptional. Next year we will use this park again.

Wow! We were traveling from West Virginia on our way to Minnesota when we found this jewel on a free iPhone app called Park Advisor. This park has 25 very large shaded back in sites with picnic tables and electric. Just a nice little park with clean restrooms and hot showers. $27 USD a night. I highly recommend.
