Unlevel sites

Stayed 4 nights here as part of our Thousand Trails membership. Full hookups (50amp, water, sewer). There was only 1 Thousand Trails allocated site remaining when we arrived and it was extremely unlevel. We are full-timers so we're not surprised to find unlevel sites, but we spent over an hour moving the rig around on the site and could never get it level with any amount of blocks or digging (the site has a 5 degree incline from back to front with about 3 degrees side to side and just barely long enough for our 42 ft rig). Luckily the office was kind enough to let us move to another site near the front of the park that was much easier to level. The location is convenient with a Walmart and Lowes off the next exit and all the historical sites are just 20-30 minutes away. We could hear a bit of highway noise when we were outside the rig, but inside we barely noticed any noise and we were near the front of the park. The roads are narrow and the asphalt hasn't been repaired in a while.

Indoor pool and hot tub open year round, full hookups, convenient to Bush Gardens and Water Country USA staff is friendly. The campground is gated for security, they have playground and putt putt. Game room and a small store. We always enjoy staying there.

Was Not Impressive

Our water was leaking, the grounds were not kept and over the weekend I heard I need to get a club membership about 100 times. Will not go back

Nice Stay

Nice place for a quiet stay. Near highway but I didn't notice any major noise. Nice grounds and friendly staff. Two pools, one indoors and open year around. Target group may not be family with kids.
