Not Our Cup Of Tea
Very close to 95, so quite a bit of traffic noise which is fine if you come from the city but feels super loud if you're used to peace and quiet in the wilderness! Campsites are all pull-through and VERY close together, making got feel more like a parking lot than a campground. There are plenty of trees around, but it's mostly all asphalt and you literally open your door to see another camper right next to yours. "Campfires" are allowed in certain sites but you have to rent a portable patio fire pit thing. We paid $45 a night for only electric and water, which is pretty expensive compared to other places we've been but makes sense so close to the city. (They have wifi but it's a weak signal and pretty much unusable.) There is a pool, a playground, and shower house on site too. The facilities seemed very clean and well kept. The staff were friendly. I'm sure some people would love it here- but we prefer the woods and way more privacy! Fine for three days visiting family and the city.
