Small Is Beautiful

We stopped for the night. The parking lot is shared between Walmart and other stores, including Ingles Groceries. It’s a good thing, because this WM is not a Super Center, and thus has less variety in groceries items, in particular fresh produce. Shortly after we pulled in a Police Cruiser came in and parked 100 yards in front if us. We took a walk to go to Walmart and stopped to chat with the officer. He told us it was quite OK to park over night, and that he was there because younger folks sometimes come and are boisterous. Didn’t happen whe we were there. A class B parked next to us, and the lot became very quiet after 10:00. We had a good night sleep. We recommend this place.

Pretty Little Historic Town

Smallish lot, level, away from the highway and quiet. Nice stay.

Marion is a small town with an excellent Wal-Mart!! The manager was very friendly and the store is well stocked. There was very little traffic during the night. Between 1:30 am and 2:30 am there was a WalMart truck delivery, a loud, low flying helicopter and 2 trains that traveled by. After that the remainder of the night was very peaceful and safe. Only one other big rig in the lot.

Comfortable and Peaceful

Overnight stop. Manager was pleasant and easily gave directions as to where to park. Store hours made it convenient to grab supplies needed in the early morning before getting on the road.

Pulled in about 5 pm there were already 2 Rvs parked near the grass area near the road so we pulled up next to the trees on the right. My gps or app told me to take the side road (Keller Ln) Don’t it’s to tight for rvs. Use main entrance up further. Lot is small for a Walmart. It’s attached to several other stores and not that level slanted to the middle. Noise from the Road and shoppers weren’t bad even the horn from a nearby train wasn’t horrible. Overall it was good
