Good But…
This is an excellent military travel camp. The sites are great with full hook ups. In the spring and early summer you can watch the Osprey fishing in an arm of the Potomac River. The price is good, especially for the national capital region though it’s a little high for your average family camp. The Wi-Fi is pretty weak, but… The one real problem for this campground is the inexplicable requirement to move your camper every two or three or four days. They absolutely need a good scheduling program that allows you to stay in your campsite for your full reservation.

Close To DC Without Bring Downtown
This is a fantastic jumping off point for all things Washington DC. The campsite is fully equipped with generous spots that are not terribly level, but great concrete pads. Plenty of space between RVs with the spot having a fire pit. No problems with any of the hook ups. Laundry facilities are OK, with a little hit and miss on the appliances in terms of serviceability. The only downside Would be the staff, this seems to move RV’s around from campsite the campsite without a lot of logic. Perhaps this is due to the people who stay for long periods, but we were moved reportedly for someone staying a longer period of time who actually didn’t. Overall, however, great jumping off point for Washington DC.

A nice camp, lots of room. Watched bald eagles teach their young to fly. Wifi, still is not good and $50 is way too much to ask, especially for a military famcamp.

PCS Move
Stayed here two nights while we were packing and getting ready to PCS. Very nice facilities, clean showers. Large laundry room. Nice lake view. Great for bike riding, dog walking. Staff was very friendly.
