Family Park

A beautiful area of you have children. I stayed on a Wednesday night....music was playing until almost 11pm, ATV were being driven throughout the park, late nite arrivals....didn't get to sleep until midnight. Awoke at 7am to children screaming and running thru park. Not a place for quiet. But it is awesome for families who enjoy water activities, riding dirt bikes, and building camp fires during the day.

We have been coming down here over Labor Day for years. It has always been a very friendly place with the camp host and nearby campers. The lake is usually down this time of year, down about 50% this year, but didn't stop them from swimming and being out on the boats. It is a popular spot on weekends and holidays, but a nice place to spend a few days.

This place could be nice but it was so over run that you can't even get to the camp sight you have reserved. It took over an hour to find and move all the owners and there cars so we could get to our camp spot. I would not recommend this place to anyone that is looking to relax and find some peace or quite.
