Shady and Nice
We paid $91 per night with the KOA discount. It's a bit pricey, but worth it I think. The park is very shady, which helped tremendously during this hot summer time. The sites are asphalt with grass in between and every site is well shaded through out the day. The pool and hot tub were a welcome relief from the afternoon heat, and could be quite busy. There are plenty of homeless on the streets and trails around the area, but I didn't see any within the park. Just be careful and lock your bikes and gear to avoid those problems. I had avoided this park because of the negative reviews, but I found them unwarranted, and I'll likely come back here again the next time we're passing through. Its location is ideal being close to the downtown and easy access to the freeways.

Stolen Bikes, Not A Great Part Of Town
The KOA itself is decent, however this is not in a great part of town and there are many thefts within the park. We had bikes that were locked up stolen (people entering park with large cutters to do this) and we were told this is a major problem here. The bathrooms also had cockroaches everywhere (not big deal for us as we use our own usually). When you are paying this much you expect better security.

Wonderful Stay
We stayed 7 days and yes it is pricey, but we wanted to be in town and close to everything. It is clean, the sites are paved, and there is plenty of shade. Would definitely stay again.

Huge park, they cater to permanent people working at the plants. Made resv for camper and upon arrival they put us in tent site. We had to pressure them to move to a camper site. Was not a pleasant encounter. Restrooms and showers were not open. Would not stay here again. Very expensive for what we got.

Excellent 4 Day Stay
Excellent place if you want to be close to downtown. Very well lit, paved roads, all the facilites needed. We were warned about the high water pressure but we had our pressure regulator so no worries there. Do take note: being that this campground is close to downtown there is city noise (trucks, motorcycles, trains, etc). Being close to the airport you will hear planes and helicopters. If you don’t mind the noise this place is excellent. Store has the basic camping necessities as well.

KOA Salt Lake City
The price for the campground is a bit high. Location Location Location. Being close to Temple Square was fantastic. The office was very friendly and was able to extend our stay before our arrival due to a trailer issue. The VIP laundromat was so clean that we talked to the manager about it. Trains, Planes, and Automobiles oh my. Noise was not that bad. This campground is in a city setting. City setting with lots of trees.

Terrible
Planes trains and automobiles! Helicopters flying so low taking tree tops a plane takes off and lands every couple minutes a loud train horn every hour and the highway noise and they don't regulate the speed in the park people literally go 30+ mph thru the park INCLUDING the park golf carts, We didn't get any sleep while here NEVER EVER AGAIN!

Sites were too close together. A family not far from us had a bike stolen. Wouldn't stay here again.

Very Decent Park
The park is old and we'll established. It is layed out very well, and handles big rigs easily. As Salt Lake City continues to grow rapidly, traffic can be troublesome in the down town area. And, even though KOA parks are generally pricy, this one takes a red ribbon. (The blue ribbon goes to Linde's Landing KOA in Billings MT.) Wi fi was set up peculiarly, but worked okay most of the time. Park television cable service is minimal, and due to LOTS of mature shade trees, satellite reception is iffy. We may stay here again, and we may not.

Large park. Paved streets. Well maintained. Conveniently located across the street from the light rail so we could easily travel to downtown.

Camper
*BEWARE* DO NOT TENT CAMP HERE! I can not stress to you enough how little sleep you will get! Our tent site is separated from a well travelled sidewalk and busy street by a mere hedge. There are low flying helicopters and continuous air traffic from a nearby airport. There are TRAINS,because well...someone thought having 99% of KOA Campgrounds within hearing distance of trains whistling all night long was a swell idea. There are semi's going by 20 feet from our heads, noisy campers, motorcycles revving nearby and freeway noise. Also,if you have dogs or kids the tent sites are dusty and dirty with small bits of trash and cigarette butts everywhere and patchy grass. If you require darkness to sleep don't even bother as this place is very well lit.On the plus side the bathrooms and pool are nice and the staff is friendly but make no mistake,IT IS TOO NOISY HERE! In their defense the gal who took our reservation did tell us it was noisy here,AFTER she took our reservation...

Worth The Money
As others stated, clean and well kept. All paved and well marked roads and sites. We had grass, shade trees, a picnic table and full hookup. The Wi-Fi and tv worked fine. Helpful staff even though they were usually very busy. They led us to our site and had a handy man stop to help us with a problem with our RV. The convenience store was neat, stocked and clean. The fenced, and faux grass (never muddy) dog play area was a nice place to play with the dog. This is a very easy access to the area attractions. We were in the back and didn't hear traffic or trains. The pool looked nice and was being very well enjoyed by many other campers. We stayed here July, 2017, and we will come back next time through.

Nice And Clean!
Very pricey! Very well managed and clean park! With that being said just know there is a train that goes by often. We can't hear it moving on the tracks but only when the horn is being used; thus is why we always travel with earplugs [ensure a better night's]

Clean park, friendly staff, clean bathrooms and showers. The pool was closed for the winter, but the hot tub was open. Easy access to the city.
