Run From This Place

We were planning a few nights here but changed our mind when checking in. Right off the bat we were changed $3 extra because we had a 50 amp. Then sent to a row of traveling campers to choose one of 3 sites. Very rocky, and so undeveloped our 5th wheel could not level us. Dogs barked all night. The nearest dumpster was a 10 min. Walk away, and the bathrooms were full of people living there. In 20 Years of camping this was the worst place I have stayed, next time I'm in the area I'm staying at a Walmart it would be better.

Surprise

This was the first time we have stayed Lake Conroe, I must it has been a wonderful time. The staff including the rangers and maintenance including housekeepers have all been extremely friendly and helpful. The sites are clean and well maintained. The bathhouses were clean and stocked, the fitness center was clean and equipment was all in great condition. We will definitely recommend this to other members Thanks your hospitality !!!

Thousand Potholes

We were there for 10 days in Jan. Not big rig friendly at all. Common areas are great but pads/sites for short term guests leave much to be desired. Uneven sites, full of puddles and just a wet mess. The roads through the long term guests are paved while the others are gravel & muck - full of potholes. They cater to their long term members !

Gypsyfeet

I love this place! It's well maintained grounds include a pool, hot tub, fire ring, cabanas with the outside, an amazing restaurant with authentic home cooked southern food, boat rentals, mini golf, basketball, tennis and so much more! Definetly 5 star material!
