Nice playground for the kids, if you so need. Also tennis courts and basketball hoops. Saw youngsters at the playground and local teens shooting hoops. They were good kids, though, and weren't loud or obnoxious, and knocked off by about 8 pm. The park itself is well maintained, but there was quite a bit of broken glass in the parking area. Also, the houses right next door, each had several dogs that stayed outdoors and "talked" to each other much of the night. That was annoying, but we're guests in their town, so we didn't fuss any. Wanted to go to Caprock SP, but they were full, so this was the closest we could get. Not a bad 25 min drive. Called city hall to confirm it was OK to stay and do we need to register, and were told yes wecan stay for a short while (we stayed 2 nights), and, no, we don't have to register. 3 stars for the dogs and broken glass. It was just OK, in a pinch. No water or electric. 5 bars AT&T. Felt very safe.

City Park Boondocking
The city has changed it's policy. They no longer provide electricity.
There's a sign suggesting a local RV park for those that want services.
2 back in and 1 parallel parking spaces.
Trash cans and 1 water hydrant at the corner of the playground.
Spaces are fairly level. Good solar.
