Full disclosure; We had booked and paid for a one night stay over a month in advance. Covid-19 virus changed our plans and we had to cancel. We called and let them know that we had to cancel 3+ weeks in advance and asked that the waive the cancellation fee. They kept the fee. Yes, it was in the contract. I expected some type of communication from the but after two more emails and two more phone calls with excuses, nothing!
While I expected a full refund in these difficult times, I understand they are not obligated to refund my full amount. I expected they would at least return a call or answer an email. I am disappointed that they would not even spend 5 minutes telling me that they were keeping my deposit.
I am sure the place is lovely and your stay will be fine as long as everything goes their way.
