Quick Get Away

This is one of our quick get aways that we love to come to. Big play area for the kids, fishing, the deer overlaod! We bring our golfcart and drive around following the kids on their bikes looking for deer. It is a fun quick get away. Spots are close but we are all over the area so it doesn't bother us to much.

Wow!!!

Talk about a water view for a beautiful sunset!! Great place for families w/ plenty of amenities. Bathrooms clean, everything in good shape. They escort you to your site for assist w/ back-in & amenity review. Lots of deer to see!! Will be back.

Pretty But Loud

We just started camping & we’re excited to try this area! The office staff are very friendly & nice BUT..... here is where is gets bad. We stayed I. The tent w electric & water hook ups. The sites are very close together & are surrounded by trees & the campers with children were SOOO LOUD until late into the night & the parents did nothing. My husband went to the play ground to ask them to please quite down. The did for about 5 mins & the kids in tents parent let them run around the entire place. Even walk down the middle of the street taunting people in cars or carts to wait or run over them. We heard screaming crying toddlers as well! This was NOT a happy experience! I wish someone would patrol & handle this. Also the bathrooms & showers have tons of spiders & bugs & mosquitoes! I actually was bitten by a spider! The tents go on sandy areas that is annoying due to getting sand in ur tent! Ugh! The grounds are very pretty but screaming & crying is no fun!

We are RV camping on a lakeside spot. I love it! Very nice park. Wish they had a pool but that may come in the future. Staff is very nice. They even escort you to your site so you don’t have to guess where it is. Lots of land yet to develop but they chose the best areas first.

I've been coming to this park for over 25 years. The new owner is absolutely the best thing that ever happened to the place. Constant upgrades to keep the park current makes this the best campground you will ever visit. Take time to explore the beauty of the park, the wildlife is abundant, great places to camp,fish or just relax and enjoy the scenery. You will come back time and time again....

I have been to this park a few times in the past 4 months and I can say they are constantly upgrading. We were in the lakeside RV area in November and the sunsets are stunning. The park is always clean and the staff is very friendly. A great place to get away from the big city for a few days. Also, I updated the website to the correct URL. It now goes directly to the park site.
