This place is CLOSED. I have tried multiple times to get in contact with the park with no success. Their web site states that the park is closed until further notice.

River Floods Park

This is a huge and beautiful park with lots of scenery! BUT during the rainy season more than half the park flooded. The Sheriff and Game Warden closed the entrance to the park and only let people in to gather some belongings and were forced to leave unless they chose to stay, even with water rising. They have a pavilion and 2 laundry facilities. Livestock is on the other side of the fence to the rv park so the kiddos will love it. And the GPS map takes you a different route to the middle of no where. Staff is very friendly.

Just a note to let you know Google Maps will not take you directly to the RV Resort. Google will take you pass the resort and wants you to take a road that doesn't go to the park. The park is well marked when you pass it on the road.

Great Stop

Stopped overnight in a motor home. Very clean. Good interior Roads. Had a great view of Lake and wildlife from RV. Did not use facilities but the appeared well kept. All the folks were friendly.
