Very Nice Surprise

Looking for just an overnight stop, this park exceeded our expectations. The park was well cared for and there were many spaces available (we traveled mid-week). We were pleased that we brought our water filtration system as the water at our site was really pretty yucky looking. We identified site #4 as our next visit’s preference.

This is a kid's campground! Huge playground, very nice. BUT, if you want some peace and quiet don't be camping within a mile of the playground. At least on weekends, all you hear all day is screaming! Beautiful CG, need more trash receptacles in park. Found 2 small cans? Local parents just let their kids run wild all day. 7:30am - 9:30pm, screaming, walking through your campsite. Price is right, sites are big and fairly level with E/W. Kinda poor Verizon coverage. No internet. BTW I was camped over 1000' from playground. May be quieter during the week.
