Kinda Dumpy
We stayed 3 nights at a sight on the river which was ok but overgrown as was the rest of the park. There were potholes in the roads, muddy areas all over, and if you like being close to your neighbors this is the place for you. The sights are thinly graveled and lines are painted on the ground between the sights. There is an adjacent farm with constant traffic back and forth. There was construction material all around the bathhouse and scattered along the roads. All that being said, the park is conveniently located and you can visit the farm to look at the animals if that's your thing. The staff we dealt with were friendly enough. We will not stay here again as this is just not what we look for in a campground but I am sure it will meet other people's needs.

Little River Campground
We came up fir a week to decompress. We stayed on site 100 full hookups parallel to the river. The river was beautiful crystal clear with a hint of emerald. Its stocked regularly I caught a few browns in the eddies edges . Saw some big ones but they weren't having what I was offering. Caught lots of smaller ones 8-12 inches. The campground was very quiet. Hood cell signal if you need that. Owners friendly and accommodating. They own the adjacent farm which you are free to hike if you leave your pets at your campsite. Overall we had a great time. Stores for the essentials are very close. 17 miles to cades cove. GSM park entrance just a few miles away. Also foothills parkway close by in the other direction. I have to say just sitting by the river for a week we saw ample wildlife. Deer, elk, bear, eagles, I think it was a beaver, and we saw a huge black bear running on the opposite side of the river. We stayed 7 days for about $500. In my mind we got more than our money's worth.

Stayed four nights. Price was a little high for the condition of the facilities. But, it is all about location and the season. Convenient to Smokey Mt Park entrance and quiet. The area along Hwy 321 has a great paved wide sidewalk for biking or walking. Would hope the new management will start showing improvements soon to justify price. Staff friendly and helpful.
