What a Joke
Called the number numerous times to check availability. Final got ahold of whoever your suppose to talk to about a site. Just for them to say fill out an app and they would approve it. It’s taken a week to here if there was a site available... only to finally get an email from so and so to say so and so may respond. To me it’s either you have a spot or don’t. Just stupid. Don’t waste your time trying to even go here for a place to park.

Place was just fine. Close to town. Spaces on the hill are not wide but ok. Would go again

Lots of Changes Since June 2018
When we were last here there were many sites on the hillside and along the fence line down the road from the current park. I don’t knowHoney if there were 275 but there are only 21 “full hookup” sites now as well as 4 sites with only water/sewer. The rest have been swept away by an ongoing construction project. The location is great for an Uber/Lyft ride into downtown or as a way station. There’s little else to recommend it. Several of the sites have markings indicating issues with the 50-amp connection (reversed polarity, etc) and several where the sewer connection was either buried in the uncut grass or covered up. Payment: in June 2018 we were hunting for the place to pay and encountered an official on a golf cart. When we told him we had stayed one night on the hillside, he said “Don’t bother, have a nice rest of your trip.” This time, we asked another camper and he pointed to a door with a blue awning on a building about a block away. $35, no discounts. Will stay here again.

Terrible
Due to construction all but 21 sites are gone. The sites are small and difficult to get backed in. The electrical service is dangerous. I checked the 30 amp at seven sites and found 2 with reverse polarity, 2 that were dead, 2 that were okay and 1 that was melted. The only good thing is that it's within the city limits. There is no shopping or entertainment within walking distance but there are many options within a short drive. The area was unkept with lots of litter around the area.

Close to city
This is a fairground parking lot with FHU and rest rooms. We took a $10 Uber ride to downtown which took about 10 minutes. Very convenient. In other big cities, I've paid almost twice as much for near downtown, with FHU. People parking here were friendly. There are 3 parking locations. We stayed in the smallest, near the buildings on the hill. It has both 30 and 50 amp. There is a bigger lot between the Speedway and Walsh Road with FHU (only 50 amp I was told). And more parking farther north of Walsh Road parking. The cost is $35 and you pay at the flea market office or security that drives around in golf carts. You can call the office to get all the details. I don't understand when people know it's a pay to park lot, with utilities, then brag about not paying because they didn't get caught. This ruins things for the rest of us.

Free Stays
You can go there for free.. no one is watching.. some people pay and I really don't know why.. no one came to tell us or left a note.. full service for free!! :-) on some other apps they say to go to a gate to pay but we've never found it!

Planned To Stay But Left
We planned to stay here when attending a concert. We knew it would not be much but that was fine because we wouldn't be spending much time at camp. When we got there, we changed our minds. Not in a great area, no directions or anyone to talk to about where to park, and it is just a bare parking lot with sketchy vehicles and campers.
