Great campground, had bad weather, campground was clean with beautiful views! Cons too many taxes and fees. Pro seniors get discounts.

Gorgeous Park & campground!
This app is totally misrepresenting this campground! Phone number here is for the Natchez Trace PARKWAY!! That's a ROAD in TN, NOT the campground! There are 2 beautiful campground in this STATE Park (the person answering the phone # listed here will tell you there is no State Park by this name!) Exit 116 off I-40 & follow the signs! Wrangler campground is geared to those travelling w/their horses, Pin Oak Campground is 10 miles further, but WELL WORTH the drive! Gorgeous lake & very nice campsites. I arrived on a Sunday so Park office was closed (thus the call to this useless phone #!). I risked just showing up & was told Pin Oak Lodge stays open late & you can call there or just go to the lodge to pay. Camp hosts less then helpful, but Rangers very nice & Lodge staff is fabulous! I only planned to stay a day, but it was so nice we stayed for 3! Will definitely go back, this is truly a gorgeous lakeside campground! This APP has it totally wrong!!!

Take exit 108 from I 40 !! I took exit 116 as instructed by their site gps but it was incorrect !! It took us to a State Park!! Very confusing!! Still trying to get there!! Will update my review!! Gentleman on the phone has been very helpful and patient!!

Pin Oak Campgrounds
There is no permanent year-round camping allowed here. Don't know where the guy below got that. Here's a video of a ride around the campgrounds on a typical Sunday afternoon after the weekend campers have mostly cleared out. https://youtu.be/VJtfXNrc-mc

Mr
Went there to look over park before reserving. Very disappointing. Most good sites are occupied by year round and seasonal residents. Park run down. Did not book. Wont return. Rate as 3.

Beautiful, all sites are full hook up. Premium sites are on the water. Clean well-maintained quiet and family oriented. Pull through and back in are both no problem. Great Water Access, fishing canoeing paddle boats. Premium site are on the water. Nothing like fishing from your camp site. We stayed a week. Best kept secret in this area. This is our home base camping area.

Awesome Scenery, Very Peaceful
Pin Oak Campground was great for our family. The lake was secluded and quiet. Excellent to canoe and fish. Sites were long for our 32 ft class A, our pull behind car, bikes, pop up canopy and tent! Park rangers patrolled often and would not tolerate dogs not on a leash. Lot 36 was nice, but shooting for 28 or 29 next time as they were on the water.

Very quite, family friendly. Pin oak lake is beautiful! Swim beach is nice and clean with sand. My daughter loved the paddle boats and playground. Cell service is very spotty but hey your camping out the phone away.
