In the words of my toddler, “it smells like poop out here.”
Would give 1 star, but it is the only thing available close to Knoxville, which is probably why they don’t need to keep it up. It works for a night or two if you really need to be in the area, but don’t expect a camping experience. We did what we needed to and left a day early. It is full of trailers that have been there for months or years, rotting away, and one even had a flat bed trailer full of trash/couch/etc just sitting by it. No picnic table, door opens onto neighbors sewer hookup, and the whole place reeks of sewage. Apparently, the pump station for all the hookups is not sealed and every time the pump kicks on or the wind changes, you better run back inside. It seems it doesn’t matter to the people living there as they seem to be out at work all day and then just stay inside their camper/home till they leave. The person next to us said the owner was aware but didn’t seem concerned to do anything about it.

Don’t Stay Here
This place is a dump. It is cheap and the only available spot we could find near Knoxville when visiting family in February. There was trash all over site when we arrived. Bare minimum maintenance. Office/laundry/bath reeks of cigarette smoke. Site A1 is large enough for 40’ rig only. Have to park vehicle elsewhere. Retaining wall in front of site is a hazard.

Bad, Bad, Worse!!!
I travel all over the country doing shows, I’m used reading the reviews to gauge the experience I should expect. From the reviews I expected VERY LITTLE, but what I got was below human decency. Knowing I would be arriving after hours I went to their website, it says if you’re arriving after hours to take a spot in the front and see them in the morning. When I arrived there were lights on in the office when I got to the (plate glass) door it was locked but not 5 feet inside the door were 4 adults playing a game, each adult looked at me, made eye contact and continued with their game as if I didn’t exist. I couldn’t discern where the “front” of the park was so I spoke through the glass and asked. I was yelled at by an older gentleman that I HAD TO MAKE A RESERVATION ONLINE, and the story goes downhill from there.... I was exhausted, didn’t have energy to drive anymore and needed sleep. Went online paid $43 for the night for a shitty run down park of rudeness, trust me - BOONDOCK!!!!

Bad Cancelation Policy
I was going to come over for a long weekend at the end of April. Was going to do an Indian motorcycle event. The event was canceled due to the current COVID 19 crisis. The campground charges me one night to cancel.
I can understand a charge just because I changed my travel plans. But this was not my choice.
Got to say that is NOT customer friendly.

Campground is mostly permanent residents. Not great for more than a stay-over spot. Restroom was clean. Makes sense for Football fans more than families.

Stayed one night in our 25’ motor home.Great back in spot on the lake with a deck.As others have written, lots of old trees.Surprising lack of bugs. Good park near Knoxville.Would stay again. We did not use the facilities so,can’t offer an opinion.

One Night Stay
We stayed here as the halfway point on the way and again on the way back. Site D2 was a great one night pull thru spot. The site was level, easy to get into and out of. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the cable didn't work, but we didn't stay long enough to try to figure out how to work it. The staff were very nice, nice camp shop and it looks like they have a lot of amenities that we didn't get a chance to take advantage of (pool).

Lots Of Big Old Trees
Nice place, although we had trouble getting level. NOTE: We only have leveling blocks, no jacks. The people that work there were super nice and accommodating. We stayed a few nights visiting friends in Knoxville. The site had a wood deck, no fire ring though.
