Worked for us
Worked as an overnight for us. electric was all we needed. This was the 2nd time we’ve stayed here. Mostly longer stay residents by the looks of it. Cash or check only!

Nice Stop
Owners and staff are the sweetest people! They were very helpful. The campground has an odd entrance but it is an easy in and out. We stayed during a huge thunderstorm and it made the campground flood and muddy. They need some gravel in their roads and sites. They only accept cash, $39. Would glad to stay again.

Great find nice ez off and on I-40 . The staff are so friendly and helpful. This will be my favorite stop over.

Nice park, large trees, fairly level sights plenty of room, friendly workers. laundry is good but aging still uses quarters. Bath not so nice only used the urinals (one operational). Floor in bath house old vinyl with many patches using duct tape. Easy access off of I40 can’t beat the price!

Very Adequate, Older Campground
Easy on/of I-40, but use Exit 63, not what W-bound google shows. Also, phone is (731) 616-3694. It has beautiful trees and nice pool, level sites, surrounding farmland and minimal road noise make Joy-O a fine stop. I haven't had a dollar washer/dryer in a long time. Great restaurant-Country Pride-uphill, walking distance, at the TA. There's a huge field for dog walking, and no permanent parties that I could discern. Didn't use facilities.

Overnighter
Used the site for a rest stop after a long day of driving. May not have been the largest place we have ever stayed but it was easy to get to. Even though it appears to have been there for a long time and needs some upkeep and maintaince, the site was level, and the price was right for 50 amp.and water..

This is quiet nice peaceful RV park. The owners are super sweet and very helpful. Laundry prices very reasonable. We were thankful to find this place. They need to advertise.

If you want a quiet, peaceful campground to just lay your weary head down then this is it. We stayed one night because there is hardly anything along east I-40 except truckers. Even the rest areas were all closed for cleaning. The owner is kind and sincere. Came out early morning when we were leaving to say goodbye and ask if we rested okay. Thank you Lord for finding this place. We were tired. Nothing fancy. Just what we needed.

Location Good & bad
The location is good because it is easy access from I 40. The location is bad because it is right behind a travel center of America truck stop and within view/earshot of the interstate. The staff were friendly. Wifi is available inside the office but it is limited. The bath house is in need of repair.

Not Bad For The Price
Good place to stop for one night. Easy access from I-40 bathhouse needs to be updated. This is the only downside. $25 a night
