Don't Drive Mh Or Fifth Wheel Across Dam
Had reservations for tailgaters cg, and had great directions to get there on hwy 121, but when I called to confirm, I mistakenly told the young lady that I was going to Cottonwood cg. She gave me lousy directions, twice. I wound up on a very narrow road heading across an even narrower road at a red light with a severe switchback on my left to get to Cottonwood. I know I couldn't make the turn, so I just stopped in the road while I called the COE for directions. A different young lady told me to make the switchback turn. When I told her no-way, she told me to go across the very narrow dam road and find a good place to turn around and come back across the dam to get to Cottonwood. This I did, with very white knuckles, as several people had to really come close to the side of the concrete dam road to get by me. My wife thought I was going to take off my outside rear-view mirror.
I made it to Cottonwood but I will never go back. The Tailwaters cg off of hwy 121 I will go back.

Small, Nice, And Clean
The campground is small and sites close together. The possitive aspects are its updated, clean and well kept. The sites are level and under shade trees. Great fishing spots all around. Cabins are cute and have AC. Great campground.
