Tried to go see the Campground for future camping, but the attendant would not allow us to just drive through without paying the $3.00. It's too bad that this won't be on our future plans!

Nice County Campground!
This small park packs plenty of punch for picnickers and overnighters alike. A narrow entrance road leads into the park, which has a minimal $2.00 entrance fee and friendly attendant. Paved roads give access to parking areas, one adjacent to a scenic waterfall. Cross the bridge to access hiking trails and picnic spots, another waterfall and wading areas. Bathrooms and a kids play area are available. The campground rises up a forested hillside, with campsites staggered in back-in sites around a loop. There are a couple pull through sites and an accessible site that are paved. A clean, well supplied bathhouse services campers. Sites have power and water and a picnic table and fire ring. Some have gravel pads and grills. All are shady; but be aware that large rigs may have trouble negotiating the steep road or getting into shorter spots. But you will enjoy the waterfalls, tumbling river water, fishing, hiking and nice facilities. Note: no alcohol, gate closes at 9pm.
