An OK Place, But Inconsistent With Rules
It was our first stay there in over 40 years. We’ve been coming to MB for decades, camping, RVing ir staying in condos. Our first taste of MB was camping in a small A-shape tent in the 80’s at Apache.
We came to this campgroung after a couple stays in Pirateland. We were taken aback by how many sites are now occupied by permanent campers or mobile homes. I must add some are in dire need of love.
The place is what you would expect from a family campground, with the usual staples. One note the convenienve store was closed for the season and under renovations.
Our big beef was with the fact that neighbours across the path pulled in 1 day after our arrival with not 2 ( as per de local rules) but 7 YES 7 little yapping dogs. No one at the gate or office seemed to give s damn. Pity.
Will not return.

IFeeeee At Best
Transporter here, travel the country all year. This is my first negative review. The front desk manager is rude and talks down to customers, even insulted my unit. The restrooms have no security features and are in need of desperate repairs. Spaces are crammed together, sand with no maintenance of the parking spots. Restaurant is way over priced, stores look like thrift stores and tip jars everywhere you look. This is definitely a Campground to stay away from. Off season still cost me $170.00 for two nights. I should have left with the first insult. It was a 6 block walk to the beach.

We Loved It Here
Very tightly packed campground. Friendly staff. Camping as close to the beach as you can get without parking on the beach. Very clean facilities. We will be back.

Great Escape
We spent 2 night, a weekend in December. Our spot was right next to the ocean, we loved the beach in the winter and had a good time at a few nearby watering holes. This time of year it was nice and quiet.

BUSY BUT NICE
Spent 8 days here. Very crowded upon arrival but found out that didn’t matter. Bathrooms and showers were nice and cleaned often. WiFi and cable both worked fantastic. We could hear the surf at night and spent everyday at the beach at least for a few hours since it was steps away. If we go back to Myrtle Beach with our camper again this is where we will stay!

Nice Tight Campground
Nice campground, but tight if you are close to beach. Has a nice large arcade and restaurant at pier. Very small pool.

Good But Could Be Better
Way too many permanent sites, some of which look like they have been there since the 1960's. Most sites are good and level, but some sections are not big rig friendly. Free access to the pier with stay. Good beach access. Friendly staff. Approach from the south or east. Turning in from the north is difficult.

Passing through
It isn't a bad campground but the sites in my section are level but all sand. The full hookups work well and the bathroom/shower house is very dated but appears to be well maintained and clean. The office staff was very nice and the campground is easy to navigate, although I am thankful our rig is a small Class C.
We are maybe a 1/4 mile walk to the beach and that is a treat since the weather this trip has been awesome.
I am not a big fan of Myrtle Beach but if I come back I would check out the other campgrounds just for the sake of variety.
