Ain’t No Problem
This was our very first trip with a camper. Drove 10 hours to get here. Staff was super friendly. As a previous poster mentioned there is a 9% grade but if you are paying even a little attention you won’t have a problem making the turn. We arrived close to 7:30 on a Sunday evening and there was someone in the office. Check-in was quick and easy and we were escorted to our site. Being a first timer we were a little slow getting backed in and unhooked but even with another camper waiting to get past our van we were never rushed by the staff. Our site was fairly level left to right but slopes down toward the creek in the back, but hey who really expects a completely level site unless it has concrete pads? The pool was ok, could use a bit of cleaning but still usable picnic tables at each site as well as a fire ring. We stayed in the full-hookup area and over all it’s a pleasant experience. They have cable available but ours didn’t work, no problem we are camping anyway. Wi-Fi was decent

Not Happy
Be aware that when you are coming in from 100 via hwy 78 you be going down a 19% grade and have to turn on a small road lots of braking hold on. Then the place your supposed to stop to register block's some parking stalls and leaves virtually no room for anyone to pass. If that's not bad enough no one directs you to your site and it is a little precarious navigating around narrow turns while watching for tree limbs. All in all if you can find another place to stay well you get the picture. I can't comment on the bath houses or anything other amenities they may offer all I wanted to do is wait until time to leave. Cable tv is sketchy at best. Should be a lot better since your paying for it.

Bath houses are run down. Some spots are tight and not level. Had to add several boards under my Jack's to level. Free WiFi is weak but if you pay it is better. They do not allow drinking. Very nice surroundings.

We made reservations and they did not tell us it was alcohol free! After finding out from a couple in campground we were at tried to cancel day later and they charged us 43.20!What a ripoff!!!We like sitting outside with a couple of drinks at night. They should make people aware at reservation time!

Pleasant About Average KOA
Site was nice cable and wifi worked fine. The bath house was a little run down not up to KOA standards. Reasonable price for a KOA
