What Happen To This Campground!
Wow what happen since last year! We’ve been here a few times and yes I get the whole “covid crap” but as soon as we were met at the entrance we were asked to all put a mask on while we were in our truck, playground closed, camp store closed, (had to order through a window), nothing going on at the campground at all, pool...could only go in a certain times for like an hour or so at a time then had to leave, had to stay in your little area at the pool, no lounge chairs to relax etc. Campground banner scrolled “keep your social distance” crap! I went camping to get a break from all of the propaganda! Full price for some amenities and some you couldn’t even use. On the plus side, cable and friendly neighbors who also weren’t thrilled! I get they’re in a pinch too but just seems like they are way overkill specially compared to all the other places around there that we’ve been to.

We highly recommend Kalyumet Campground! It is a great family atmosphere! From the time you enter their campgrounds to the day you leave!
This is our number one campground in cook Forest and northwest Pa.
Their large swimming pool is heated with a large Mushroom water fountain fun for the grandkids! Just so many things to do, putt putt, Ice cream and Arcade !!
Definitely a campground you need to see!

Muddy Dirty Pines
If you have a permanent spot, you are constantly cleaning pine skins and needles from the area. Lots of mud holes; everywhere. For the price you pay, you should expect more

Wonderful Place To Stay
This is a great campground starting with a very friendly staff. The year round sites were well kept, showers/bathrooms clean and all sites clean and level. Great for a large motorhome or 5th wheel rig. There nice tent sites too. For family’s with kids there’s lots of things to do like a nice pool, mini golf on site with go karts / bumper boats a few miles up the road. There’s also tubbing, canoes and kayak rentals in the area. We will stay here again without a second thought. If there is one criticism it that the internet is very s-l-o-w but most place like this are.

This is a nice campground. They have a very nice pool in the front. Close to canoeing just over the hill. Everyone was friendly. I would stay here again.

Best Campground In Cooks Forest
I have here over 24 times in the past 8 years. Large shaded sites, fantastic heated pool lots to do in the campground and around the area. Easy access from I-80
