Class C Campsite
Beautiful place. Especially after all the kids went back to school. Looks like a summer hot spot. Swimming and hiking near by and lots of things to do near by. We loved our stay.

No WiFi, And Aging
Great state park, but it’s primitive. There is no WiFi and cell phone is limited (ATT works best). The dump station for the Hochatown area (turkey, quail, etc) is muddy and needs maintenance. The whole park needs some TLC but it’s not bad overall

Buckeye Rv Park In Beavers Bend
We just got back from Beavers Bend state park, gorgeous place with tons to do to keep your group busy for two or three days. We stayed in the Buckeye RV site. It was also pretty but they pack everyone in so close - too close . We closed all of our widow shades cause out every window was another RV or someones car or wet clothes line. People walking thru our camp as well . The grill in our camp rusted out and fell to the ground and our electric hook up was roughly 60’ away from our RV - had to go into town to buy an extension cord to reach. No sewer hookup in Buckeye so most people , including us, had to go dump almost daily- huge pain in the butt.
The river is gorgeous but due to safety reasons no-one allowed in the water. We will go back to Beavers bend but probably not stay in the Buckeye RV park ( near the tennis courts).
