Beautiful Park. Terrible Staff & Sites

I stayed here for a week. My site was terribly uneven and there were acorns falling on my camper all night. Levels can only do so much. I moved to the lake for my work days to have a clear view of the sky for my internet satellite. Campground wifi is insufficient. I slept (poorly) in my deeply sloped site. On the last day, a Staff member harassed me while I was showering by agressively accusing me of squatting in the park and not paying for my stay. Not only was this factually inaccurate, I felt deeply unsafe with her choice of where and how to confront me. If not for this experience, it would have been 4 stars for the beauty of the park.

Impressive state park. We lucked out with a full hookup site (#8) which was great. Enjoyed 2 great dinners at the Punderson Inn. Will stay here again!

Quiet And Scenic

It's a nice Ohio State Park campground. Plenty of activities on site or nearby. Quiet, with pretty level sites. Our site was shady most of the day. Public bathrooms/showers were average but pretty clean.

Nice state park campground. Note: only full hookup sites are 50 amp. All the rest are 20 amp.
