Nice Place To Stay For A Few Days
We stayed in mid August 2023 and enjoyed it. The sites are large and some have a tree or 2 for shade. Water is available from a few shared spigots. The dump station charges $5 to dump even if your staying, weird. The caverns are a good half day trip. Some sites are 50 amp. Would stay again.

Nice But Pricey
Pull through's are level and we opted for full hook up, had been boondocking for the last week and a half. Even though there was people in the office to take the $7 a day pass they would not take the site fee, we had to go on line (another $9 fee) and reserve a sight. The site itself was not to bad($30) for full hookup. It was just the extras that added up.
Be warned the road 1804 is bad, really BAD...under construction and gravel,15 to 25 mph max with a trailer.

Lovely Campground
We visited the park in our 25’ camper van after the summer rush and enjoyed it immensely. Caught a nice pike casting off the pebble beach (yes we had a 3-day state fishing license). Sites were large, the restrooms were clean, lots of trees, the park staff very pleasant, and a marina (though we had no boat). There was no downside except for a blaring siren we were later told was a test of the region’s tornado warning system.

Plus park pass or $7 and reservation fee if you call. I just walk in and no fee. Tuesday and many sites open. Electric or full service and tent. Play grown, beach trails good bathrooms and showers by camp host and wifi by host too - lucky me. Some sites have trees but many are rotted with dead branches West on road here almost not passable - nightmare construction 2017-2018
