Stopped here after checking out the Juniper campground in the national park and found this site to be much better in terms of privacy and likelihood of bothersome mosquitoes. Ring fire pit with grate, flat site for tent, short gravel road drive to get here. Sites were spread out so with it not being a busy night, felt private and quiet. Bring in fire wood as there is little to find in the surrounding area.

Year Round Camping
We spend 3 nights in the middle of November. This year is unusual warm with highs of 60-65 and lows of 28-42.
Water was still available and only 1 other camping spot occupied. We experienced quite a few day visitors hiking and/or hunting on the trails. But no problem mountain biking and running.
Very clean and well stocked vault toilets. We had a great time and plan on coming back here.
