A beautiful well-maintained campground! Lots of room between pull through sites. Plenty of room to get dog out for walk. Quiet!

Put It On Your To Do List
I loved this state park and campground. We had a secluded drive thru in the Howard division. Extremely large and quiet. The park and lake are beautiful. Nice place to ride bikes. Staff is friendly and helpful. I hope to return, just glad we stumbled on to it.

Spacious, well kept state park
We spent the weekend here, so after Labor Day it's not a problem finding space. The sites are water/electric only and nearly all are pull-thru. The dump station can handle two RVs at a time. Very nice park. Bundles of wood sell for $4. It's a great place if you're a fisherman, and a good place for a nice quiet time. The fee is good, but remember it also requires a state park pass ($7/day or $35/year)

Friendly Everything
This is a dream campground. Biking, hiking, birdwatching, boating, golf carting, swimming, playground, volleyball, dogpark. Can't name it all. Howard camping area is 44 sites of serenity. I will absolutely be back.

So Much Space...
This park is hugely popular among fishermen, and we don’t fish. But we were amazed by the space between campsites. Lots of shade. We got elec and water and used the communal exit septic dump. The park staff was very nice, the store nicely stocked, the facilities clean. No complaints at all. If you fish, there is a nice, communal fish-cleaning station. Lovely place. Great place for boat-watching.

Very Nice
The 'primitive ' campsites were perfect. Quiet, scenic, level, & affordable.

$+state pass. Busy place. Tons of camp sites. The big draw is excellent fishing but also beautiful with 2 older camp areas with mature trees. Tons of bird watching. Flat for biking. Walking trails and beautiful lake to look at. Ride over water was awesome also. New bate shop well stocked with camping needs. Nice roads and flat sites. Modern bathrooms some locations
