Never Again.
We love this park but never again. The site was beautiful but... Checking in was a nightmare and the gentlemen couldn't get us checked in and were not that pleasent. We had to come back the next day taking time (and allot of it) from our hiking and kayaking, still it was a lengthly process. Bathrooms were ok but careful where you park. Park attendants will yell, holler w/profanity and be out right rude, even in front of your children which is uncalled for. There seems to be a host of new people working which could be the problem. Be careful if you have children as the workers seem the "race" around the park in their carts. Just seems to be an unsafe environment which is a shame as it's a beautiful place and we always loved going their but never again. Seems as if their is no sense of pride anymore and attendants are miserable. Friends of ours spent the 4th of July their, had a horrible time and experienced much of the same. Very unprofessional & upsetting. We were their May 25, 4 days.

Our first camping trip to the Adirondacks was a blast, early August of 2015. We are going back this year as well, but we are staying at Nick's Lake. Limekiln was very nice, quiet, and well maintained. I would definitely recommend staying here. Only thing we didn't care for was the no reservations. We live about 8 hrs away, so it was a gamble that there would be an open spot for us.
