We were traveling thru the area and specifically stopped at this park because of their small campground. We stayed here a few years ago also. It’s quiet. Clean. Nice shower building. The historical section is interesting and adds to the stay. Sites are fairly small except for the two at edge of parking lot that have electric. The others do not. We have a 22’ trailer with F150. Only a few sites were large enough. Mid June. No bugs. Very pleasant walking around or sitting outside.

Worst Mosquitoes Ever
Can't say much about this park because we had to stay in our camper the whole time. The ranger said she always wore layers of deet and it was this bad all summer. We tried to look at the interpretive signs but got driven back inside. Sites are nice, level, shady, fairly large. No power no water. Expensive for what you get.
