Large Campground

We were stuck next to a trailer with a large outside generator running only during allotted times, that was quite loud. Really dampened our experience more than the rain. Enjoyed the trail. One shower house, however nice, is not enough for 172 sites. Staff seemed cranky. Not my favorite place.

NICE

This part of the ADKS lacks the higher mountains and deep woods feel. Not much nearby which can be good or bad depending. Roads are old/narrow with decay; sites could use gravel. Overall nice place with decent access. Pretty lake view from site #43.
