Nice park and park host. Clean pit toilets. We will. Stay again someday. 5 stars for dry camping

Great park. State Park visitor center awesome too. Great info, beautiful view, very helpful staff. Tough getting into the campground from the west. Keep going on 64 until you see the Eagle Nest lake state park sign. Do not follow GPS. We went down 3 gravel roads before we found the sign.

Another Great NM State Park
Map shows incorrect location. Coming from the south, continue past the dirt road to the Eagle Nest Lake State Park day area, past the GPS location, to Angel Fire RV Park and turn down that road. Or just put Angel Fire in your GPS and then continue down the road toward the lake. The RV spots are to the right past the first pay station and the camp host spot. Keep going. The campground is past the boat ramp parking lot.
Once found, it's a great spot. No trees but large level gravel sites with canopy, picnic table, and fire pit/grill. Great view of the lake and hills beyond. Close to town but no highway noise.
No hookups, no dump station.

Great View
Beautiful by the water. Surrounded by mountains. Vaulted toilets and pump water. Shelter tables and sites are pull through or back in.

Nice State Park
$10 / night. Self pay. No hookups. Big rig friendly. Each site has its own covered table on concrete pad. Pads for RVs are gravel. Pit toilets and water on site. No dump. Park Rangers on site. Beautiful views.
