This is a very nice park with lots of hiking trails. We were there during the week before Labor day weekend and were one of only about 5 campers there so it was very quiet. The disc golf course was good but it was our first time playing so we have nothing to compare it to. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The fun looking splash pad is only run during the weekends once the kids are back in school but we got to see it running as we left on Friday. The only downside is the road through the campsites are very narrow and some slope down considerably on the sides. We originally booked site 17 but couldn't back in due to the sharp turn. Fortunately the park was empty and we switched to spot 20 which was much easier to get into. The camp host said this park is on the schedule for a major upgrade to improve the road/pads. We will be back. $36 per night with senior discount.

Narrow Sites
CCC built park with the same narrow roads and sites. Caveat emptor.

Best Campground!
We've been RVing for close to six years and this is, by far, the nicest state park we've been in. Great sites, most with view of the lake.

Not For The Faint Of Heart RV'ers
Nice staff. Roads are narrow with no shoulder. RV sites are very narrow, difficult to back in, unlevel, and most have a high drop off. If you're not careful and go off the side, you're going to damage something. The lake is nice and great playground for kids. Recommend for day use. Camping is pricey for what you get. We're driving the extra 20 miles to a Corp park with $18 level sites.

Nice campground with lots of trees. Don't know why they say 32 feet is the maximum length for an RV. We easily got our 35 foot RV in in a site and we were towing a Jeep. I think that you would not have a problem with a 40 foot RV. If in doubt call the campground for advice. They are very helpful.

Our first time to come to ClarkCo. We came in on 11/20/2016 & left 11/24/2016. We had a great time. The park was well kept, bathrooms were clean and the staff was great.
