There are plenty of camp locations so finding a spot is not usually a problem, except during the really busy times. The fishing is fair to good most of the year and day trips into the Boundary Waters are reasonably close by. There are some big Smallmouth and decent Walleye on Sawbill, but a side trip to Alton is a better bet for fishing. There is also a general store on site so groceries, ice and beer are always on hand.
