Why does the DNR rent sites that are so unlevel you need a load of planking to get level in an rv. Makes me furious, make them tent sites only

Nice
Lots of shade but some open sun sites. Get a shoreline site if possible since it's very scenic. Bathrooms older but clean and shower was good. Garbage was at dump station which was a little walk away. Will stay again if in area.

Outer Loop Site
Your best bet is to get an outer loop site. The sites are laid out in haphazard fashion on the inside sites with trucks and big rigs laid out in every direction. You have a little more room on the outside and there are some good sites overlooking lake. Lots of people when we were there, although having said that we were happy to get a site as we didn't have reservations. Called the local number earlier on in the day and they told us there were plenty of sites. Bathrooms were fine but worn, a few pit toilets on addition to flush toilets to pick up the extra flow( no pun). Dump/water station Clean and easy.

Very Nice Park
We stayed here several nights October 2019. We had a Lakeview sight #62. Weather was quite windy. Nice trail down to the water. The park had issues with their well when we were there,an inconvenience but not unbearable. Bathrooms were clean, slightly dated but running water and a flush toilets are always appreciated. Beautiful views of the lake from our sight.

Nice Park
Park has a some pull throughs, a lot of the sites are level, lots of grass and very well kept. If you like lots of breeze pick a site by the lake. The best sites are around the outside, nice and big and easy to back in, but are not full hook ups. The restrooms were clean but only had one shower in the mens room, although at the far end by the hosts site there are more showers and restrooms.
